"Hi Edna, it's simple to negotiate as all taxis have to use the meter and this rule is very strictly enforced, there will be no "sum" negotiated. The hotel will arrange for you; most hotels have taxis waiting outside. As well as that, there are usually taxis waiting outside the more popular sights, so if your driver is unfriendly and you want a new one, you can just tell him not to wait." -RationalMatthew
